About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Trainee to join our team at Steelserv Corp. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and lay out work pieces to ensure accurate assembly
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to understand production requirements
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to optimize performance
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
  • Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Dependability, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills
