About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 2600247 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with food storage and inventory management.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.

Language
