We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Wok Box. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
  • Package take-out food to meet customer expectations and ensure timely delivery.
  • Portion and wrap foods to maintain quality and presentation.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer preferences.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely service.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Stand for extended periods to perform tasks and provide customer service.
  • Work under pressure to meet customer expectations and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate orders and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Experience and Education:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Permanent employment with opportunities for growth and development.
  • Work 32 to 40 hours per week to meet business demands.
