Job Description:

This permanent casual (on-call) position involves coordinating resident care services and ensuring seamless support to our residents. Your typical day will involve:

  • Maintaining accurate resident records and required documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Performing medication assistance and care tasks, including blood pressure monitoring, catheter care, assistance with range-of-motion exercises, and medication administration.
  • Monitoring resident well-being and performing other related duties as required to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
  • Completing all aspects of resident care as outlined in personal service plans.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by answering resident call bells and door alarms promptly.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A completed Care Aid certificate program.
  • Medication certification.
  • Experience working in Assisted Living environments.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
