Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Specialist to provide essential support to our legal and finance teams. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks related to contracts, corporate governance, and in-house legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Review, draft, and manage contract documents, including redlining NDAs, vendor agreements, and ancillary customer-facing contract documents.
  • Corporate Governance: Assist with compliance, including filing annual corporate returns, updating corporate declarations, drafting resolutions, and ensuring compliance with U.S. state filing requirements.
  • Legal Support: Manage inquiries to the legal inbox, assist with litigation, IP management, and coordinate visa, work permit, and permanent residency applications.
  • Document Management: Organize and file correspondence and legal documents in office and electronic filing systems.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Paralegal Studies or a Law Certificate, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a private corporation or translatable experience from a law firm.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English and French.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Ability to prioritize under tight schedules and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Superior knowledge with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
