About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Lazeez Shawarma. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates for future operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying.
