Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Alberta Ltd O/A New Asian Village. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Balance cash and record sales accurately.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervise other servers and bussing staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Schedule and train staff to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality service.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
