Job Title: Deskside Support

At PeopleToGo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service, hardware deployment, and technical support, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Provide first-level Help Desk support and perform deskside support services, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking activities.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
  • Respond to and update calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and parts requirements.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • Vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
