Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lead Plumber Technician to join our team at Sun Star Mechanical LTD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing system installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Lead Plumber Technician, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in plumbing system installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
