Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Operational Excellence: Work with the Store Manager to optimize store operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Customer Experience: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment, and promoting a positive store image.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of sales associates, department managers, and other store staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate stock counts.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: College or university degree in a related field (e.g., business, retail management, or a related field).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressive management experience in retail, preferably in a grocery or pharmacy environment.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
