We are seeking a skilled Senior Carpenter and Woodworker to join our team at Creative Kitchen Cabinet Inc.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. They will also be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, as well as maintaining, repairing and renovating residences and wooden structures in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut and shape materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Assemble and join materials using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to a high standard.
  • Maintaining, repairing and renovating residences and wooden structures to ensure they are safe and functional.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching and kneeling.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime required to meet deadlines. The role is permanent and based in a variety of locations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, paid vacation time and opportunities for professional development.
