Risk Services Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Services Consultant to provide expert advice and support to our clients regarding loss prevention.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments with members and prospects
  2. Compile detailed reports using advanced inspection management tools
  3. Perform thorough building measurements and replacement cost estimates
  4. Create accurate fire mapping diagrams and floor plan sketches
  5. Collaborate closely with supervisors, underwriters, and brokers
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest risk prevention techniques through ongoing industry education
  7. Regular travel required for field assessments

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3+ years of experience in risk services, loss control, or a related field
  2. Post-secondary education in a relevant field (engineering technology, safety management, building inspections)
  3. Strong knowledge of building construction and fire protection systems
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. Level I or II Infrared Thermography certification preferred
  7. CIP, CRM, or equivalent designation is an asset
