About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kitchen Story. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Plan and coordinate the preparation and service of meals to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to deliver our menu.
    • Develop and implement systems to monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Recruitment and Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of kitchen staff.
    • Manage staff schedules, time-off, and other personnel matters.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Permanent employment
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
