We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Partner to join our team at NAIT. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis department, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and expertise to support the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership: Provide financial guidance and support to NAIT Executive, senior management, middle management, and support staff to ensure the effective management of financial operations.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to support business decisions and drive growth.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, including the annual audited financial statements.
- Investigations and Improvements: Participate in investigations relating to irregularities, fraud, or business process improvements, and implement recommendations to enhance financial operations.
- System Upgrades and Documentation: Participate in the upgrade, installation, and documentation of computerized systems that affect assigned business units or NAIT's overall operations.
- Professional Accounting Designation: Hold a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) and have a minimum of 2 years related accounting experience.
- Senior Accounting Experience: Possess several years of progressive senior accounting experience relevant to the position.
- Accounting Knowledge: Have excellent knowledge of the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, reconciliation, inventory management, internal controls, and contract management.
- System Experience: Experience working in a PeopleSoft enterprise system environment is an asset.
