At Canlan Sports, we believe that our success is built on innovative programming, service excellence, and a deep understanding of our customers' expectations. As a key member of our team, the Sports Coordinator will play a critical role in delivering exceptional experiences for our participants.
About the PositionThis is a seasonal role, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our summer sports camps and clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager and Head Instructor in the planning and execution of these programs.
Key Accountabilities- Assist in the development and implementation of summer sports camps and clinics
- Supervise and mentor part-time staff to ensure high-quality service and safety standards
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records and reports to track program progress and camper satisfaction
- Support the administration of program logistics, including purchasing supplies and coordinating staff training
- University degree in Sports Administration or related field (or currently enrolled)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability, with ability to work varied schedules and respond to changing priorities
- Prior experience working with children and in camp or teaching environments (an asset)
