- Level earth to fine grade specifications for optimal crop growth
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure maximum yield and quality
- Remove suckers and water sprouts from crops to promote healthy growth
- Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and promote healthy growth
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
- Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent disease
- Harvest crops at optimal times to ensure maximum quality and yield
- Report any signs of insect or disease damage to ensure prompt action is taken
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality crops
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and efficiency in completing tasks
- Work in a rural area with varying weather conditions
- Work at heights and in wet/damp environments
- Exposure to odours and hot temperatures
- Non-smoking work environment
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:40-60 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
