About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join its team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. As a key member of the Platform Solutions team, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy) and bash scripts on a managed Jenkins Core platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy) and bash scripts
  • Work with AWS Resources using IaC templates with CloudFormation/Terraform and AWS CLI
  • Manage Kubernetes architecture and components using Helm
  • Experience with microservices architecture, blue green deployments, multi-region, observability, and RDS
  • Develop and maintain build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and containerization of applications
  • Automate and streamline deployment processes using continuous deployment environments
  • Mentor and support less experienced developers in adopting best development practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in architecting, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy) and bash scripts
  • 3-5 years of working experience with AWS Resources using IaC templates with CloudFormation/Terraform and AWS CLI
  • 3-5 years of managing Kubernetes architecture and components using Helm
  • Experience with microservices architecture, blue green deployments, multi-region, observability, and RDS
  • Hands-on experience with container deployment, management, scaling, and networking
  • Experience with GitHub actions and workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud native web frameworks
  • Strong understanding of front-end web development, including developing, testing, and maintaining build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and tools
