Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining work records and logs, assisting with maintenance of communications equipment, and dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
* Assist with the maintenance of communications equipment to ensure seamless communication with drivers and other stakeholders
* Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
* Respond to emergency situations by dispatching personnel as required
* Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays
* Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations
* Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses accurately and efficiently
* Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to optimize productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations

Work Environment:

* 30 to 40 hours per week
* Permanent position
* English language required
