Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange the bar area to create an attractive and inviting atmosphere
  • Organize the operations of our cocktail lounge or bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections to our guests, taking into account their preferences and dietary requirements
  • Collect payment for beverages and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Record and balance beverage sales, ensuring accurate financial records
  • Store and maintain inventory of beverages and food products, ordering stock as needed
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, ensuring accurate and timely service
  • Resolve conflict situations in a professional and respectful manner
