About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at Richmond Kosher Bakery Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Oversee the preparation of dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established standards of quality and presentation.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assist with the sales and merchandising of baked goods, including display and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills necessary for this role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, and a team player.
Work Conditions
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
