As a Technical Lead - Contaminated Sites/Waste Management, Infrastructure Sector, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our critical infrastructure projects. With a strong background in environmental sciences and engineering, you'll lead investigations, design, and remediation projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and project management for infrastructure projects, including investigations, remediation design, and excess soil planning.
  • Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements.
  • Develop remedial design and site remediation strategies, including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, and mechanical technologies.
  • Manage excess soil and waste management on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.Reg. 406/19.
  • Peer review technical documents and reports.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client outreach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of consulting experience in environmental sciences and engineering, with a strong background in Ontario's environmental laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing contaminated sites projects, with a focus on project management and technical design.
  • 10+ completed projects under O.Reg. 406/19, with experience in excess soil planning and monitoring.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work products.
  • Financially literate and experienced in project management.
