Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team in Repentigny, Canada.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes in condition, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans that meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team, facilitating prompt interventions and improving patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, promoting effective communication and minimizing errors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid RPN license in Canada, completion of a recognized Practical Nursing program, and previous experience in a healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust with patients and colleagues.
