We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender & Server to join our team at Purushoth Puvanendran. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Greet and seat customers with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Keep track of inventory and report shortages, ensuring that the bar is always well-stocked and prepared for customer demand.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
  • Be able to refer to the restaurant menu and promote a positive atmosphere, ensuring that customers feel welcome and valued.
  • Alert and aware of customers who have arrived and those who need to check out, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.
  • Able to problem-solve and resolve conflicts with customers when appropriate, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process payments accurately using POS systems, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, ensuring that the restaurant is always clean and welcoming.

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a bartender and food service professional (minimum of 3 years preferred).
  • Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Alert, attention to detail, and conscientious when dealing with customers and making transactions.
  • Good in a fast-paced environment, timely and organized working with a considerate volume of customers.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
