As a Production Manager at Axelon Services Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the production management services, including end-user support, systems monitoring, incident management, and problem management. You will also handle plant management and event management, ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide extensive business and application knowledge to support client-facing applications.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- Identify and implement automation to reduce toil, improve efficiency, and eliminate customer impact.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Configure application monitors using industry-standard monitoring tools and develop customized monitoring solutions.
- Interface with clients and other technology teams to provide governance and control around the production environment.
- Manage and drive outage calls and significant incidents, coordinating communications within a trade floor environment.
- Act as a primary escalation/communication point between Application development teams and Business Units.
- Initiate, grow, and shape processes, procedures, and strategies to make the team more efficient.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of production management services, including end-user support, systems monitoring, incident management, and problem management. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A strong background in IT production management, technical operations, or a related field is required. Experience with industry-standard monitoring tools and customized monitoring solutions is also highly desirable.
