Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment to ensure seamless communication with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring optimal route planning and timely delivery of goods.
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders, resolving any discrepancies or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Keep track of shipments, monitoring their progress and ensuring they are delivered on time.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices is essential for this role.
  • Maintain vehicle operator work records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Operate radio equipment to communicate with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Client focus and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Efficient communication and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are necessary to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Will train the successful candidate, providing comprehensive onboarding and support.
