Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care services to our residents while mentoring and guiding our care staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality care to residents
  • Supervise care staff, ensuring excellent care services and providing guidance and education as needed
  • Conduct assessments of residents and provide ongoing support during their transition to our community
  • Establish priorities based on individual resident needs and provide Person-Centred Service Plans (PCC)
  • Ensure compliance with resident assessments, service plans, and community-specific policies and regulations
  • Manage risk by adhering to thorough monthly care-related audits
  • Administer medications as required
Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with CLPNA
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment is an asset
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
