Job Title: Tow Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at ALG Automotive Lounge Group Inc. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and recovering vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tow truck to safely and efficiently recover vehicles from various locations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, including brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
