Job Title: Warehouse Labourer/Driver

Chandos is seeking a skilled Warehouse Labourer/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our equipment yard and construction site operations, you will be responsible for performing physical labour tasks, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient delivery of tools and equipment to our job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks involving physical labour at our equipment yard and construction sites, including cleaning tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering tools and equipment to job sites.
  • Assist with the loading, unloading, and identification of tools and equipment, and distribute them to the appropriate locations within the warehouse and yard.
  • Complete outgoing and incoming inspections of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse, storage yard, and external yard/shop.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving abstract.
  • Experience in operating larger vehicles and securing loads is an asset.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Able to operate required trucks and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Requires ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects.
