Job Title: Security Officer - Tactical Mobile Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our Tactical Mobile Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients in the Lower Mainland, Metro Vancouver, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including alarms, security breaches, and property damage, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with first responders, including police, fire, and ambulance services, to ensure effective response to emergencies.
  • Write detailed incident reports to document security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Build relationships with surrounding businesses to enhance security and provide a safe environment for all.
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot security systems and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Maintain a professional and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts.
  • Exceptional customer service, professionalism, and communication skills.
  • Experience in handcuff training/use and self-defense.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Post-secondary education in Criminology & Law Enforcement is an asset.
