Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier to join our team at Coaldale Spirits & Wine Merchants. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
  • Scan items and receive payment for goods or services
  • Suggestive selling and upselling opportunities
  • Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods
  • Provide assistance with self-checkout
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
