About Hendrik's Barbershop

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Hair Stylist to join our team at Hendrik's Barbershop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and styling services to our clients.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary package including an estimated $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  
• Shampoo customers' hair
  
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  
• Provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages
  
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest hair cutting and styling techniques
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  
• Will train, but previous experience in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio an asset
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precision cutting and styling
  
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
