About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Goodwill Moving Services Ltd. as a key member of our logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Goods: Safely transport and deliver goods to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of goods received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Goods Preparation: Prepare, package, and restock goods for delivery, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to ensure safe and efficient handling.
  • Package Sorting: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring they are properly labeled and ready for transport.
  • Navigation: Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes and schedules.
  • Appointment Setting: Set appointments for sales team members, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, allowing you to operate cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, reliability, teamwork, accuracy, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, and punctuality.
  • Support for Diversity: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, participate in government or community programs supporting newcomers and refugees, and participate in initiatives supporting Indigenous people and youth employment.
  • Work Terms: Work on a permanent basis, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Language: Communicate effectively in English.
