About the Role:
Apollo Industries Limited is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team in a custom cabinet shop environment. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products. You will also prepare and apply laminated plastics, tender and administer contracts, and project manage various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- Prepare and apply laminated plastics
- Tender and administer contracts
- Project manage various tasks
- Perform architectural research
- Provide excellent customer service
- Supervise construction sites
- Prepare sketches and models
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in a custom cabinet shop environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dusty environment
