About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and implementing technical systems to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Design and implement technical solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use the systems and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Cobol, DB2, CICS, VSAM, JCL, SAS, Endevor, and Control-M, with a strong understanding of mainframe technologies.
