Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Lifemark is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work with clients to assess and address physical and cognitive functioning, creating personalized treatment plans to promote independence and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client physical and cognitive functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WSBC referrals is a strong asset
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
