Job Title: Courier Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Courier Driver to join our team at Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Courier Driver will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle to transport goods and packages to customers
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Load and unload goods
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Bondable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a courier or delivery driver
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Courier Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to various locations. The role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and to handle heavy loads.
