Job Overview

The Digital Media Planner is a pivotal role in our marketing agency, Gene Worldwide Inc. We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented professional to design and execute innovative media strategies that drive results. This position requires expertise in digital marketing, a deep understanding of media trends, and a data-driven mindset to shape campaigns that achieve measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive digital media plans that align with client objectives, target audiences, and budgets.
  • Conduct research to identify the most effective platforms, channels, and tactics for reaching target audiences.
  • Manage media buying across platforms, including programmatic, social, search, display, and video.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize media placements in real-time to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure media plans align with overall campaign strategies.
  • Analyze data and generate insights from campaign performance to inform future planning and recommendations.
  • Stay current on digital media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to inform media strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and platforms to negotiate the best rates and placements.
  • Prepare and present media plans, performance reports, and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure media campaigns comply with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Expertise in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DSPs, and other programmatic tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and optimize campaigns for performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in presenting to clients and internal teams.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative and account teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
