Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Zoning and Merchandise Management: Ensure that the produce department is properly zoned and stocked with merchandise, and that all products are properly signed and priced.
  2. Inventory Control: Rotate stock, check for expired products, and adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  3. Food Safety and Handling: Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  4. Ordering and Inventory Management: Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensure that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business.
  5. Health and Safety: Follow Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
