Utility Worker

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team at Shannex Incorporated.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, including:
- Processing all dishware and maintaining the sanitation of dish machines, kitchen aides, and dish sinks according to established cleaning guidelines;
- Returning clean dishware to appropriate storage areas for use by Culinary Services employees;
- Bussing of tables in the dining rooms and catering areas as required;
- Maintaining cleanliness to standard in the kitchen and kitchen aide areas.

About YouWe are looking for a candidate who:
- Has completed High School or their GED;
- Can work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts, inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
- Has CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification and/or Basics Food Safety Training/Food Handler's Course (considered an asset);
- Has previous experience working with seniors in a Retirement Living or Long-Term Care environment (considered an asset).
