Software Engineer, Banking Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Banking Technology team. As a key member of our squad, you will contribute to the development of our web application, working closely with our Engineering Manager and other team members.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Node, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business value and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the development of automated tests to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to refine the product backlog and provide estimates for tasks.
- Mentor and support other engineers on the team, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Node, and React, as well as cloud-based technologies such as Azure and AKS.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
