We are seeking a skilled Cafeteria Cook to join our team at J. Addison School. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals and individual dishes for our students and staff
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Or equivalent experience
- Food Safety Certificate
- Vulnerable sector check
Our cafeteria is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to provide excellent service to our students and staff. You will be required to work in a team environment and be organized and dependable.
