Job Title: Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable to join our team at The Mason Group Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including invoices, payments, and vendor information.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a large complex organization.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
  • Experience with automated AP processing and ERP systems, such as Concur or Bassware.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP implementation and configuration.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • Certifications in accounting or finance, such as CPA or CMA.
