Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unified Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and operating our unified communications systems, including audio and video conferencing, instant messaging, and voice over internet protocol (VoIP) services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and operate AudioCodes devices, Survivable Branch Appliances (SBA), Mediant 1000B Gateways, and 2600 Session Border Controllers.
- Support collaboration devices, including Polycom room systems.
- Manage and support user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and resource mailboxes in Exchange Online.
- Implement and manage security policies, including blocking senders and domains, and managing online connectors.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, including blocking access to websites, IP addresses, and identities.
- Conduct Exchange message traces and review quarantined emails.
- Manage and maintain threat policies, including antiphishing, antispam, antimalware, safe attachments, and safe links.
- Support endpoint management, including mobile devices, conditional access policies, and configuration profiles.
- Manage and support Exchange on-premises servers, including virtual servers, DAGs, and cluster witness servers.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions, including SRM experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in system and collaboration applications, including telephony gateways.
- Certification in MS technologies, ITIL, and IT project management desired.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Azure, O365, Intune, and cloud computing.
- Experience with Skype 2019 and MS-Teams, including migration processes.
- Good experience with PowerShell scripting for Active Directory and Exchange.
- Strong understanding of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems.
- Experience with SCCM and Agile methodologies.
