Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

The successful candidate will manage financial analysis for a number of brands, reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst. Key responsibilities include corporate accounting controls, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, client compensation modeling, and tracking of WIP, Accrued Revenue, and Deferred Income.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly financial revenue and overhead reports.
  • Analyze and prepare all revenue and overhead accruals.
  • Maintain client compensation charts and review existing financial analysis to evaluate client performance.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts for all client revenues and overheads.
  • Collaborate with year-end and mid-year internal auditors.
  • Work with Brand Directors and line of business Management to review actual results and forecasts, and address special client requests.
  • Perform various tasks as assigned by the Sr. Financial Analyst.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA not required, but a plus).
  • 3-5 years related corporate accounting experience (media/advertising agency, PR firm, or related industry a strong asset).
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills required – ability to create and use pivot tables necessary.
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
