About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at G Star Homes Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, including drywall, lumber, and other supplies.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites, including leveling earth and grading specifications.
  • Construction Tasks: Perform a variety of construction tasks, including framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Surface Preparation: Conduct drywall taping and patching to ensure smooth surfaces.
  • Specialized Tasks: Assist in paving and raking asphalt, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards and company expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
