**Job Summary:**
Prairie South School Division No. 210 seeks a detail-oriented and physically capable Casual Facility Operator to join our team.
About the Position:
This casual position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds, as well as assisting the Head Facility Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds.
- Assist the Head Facility Operator in various tasks and duties.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution or General Educational Development (GED).
- A valid Fireman's certificate if required by legislation.
- Six months experience in a cleaning/caretaking position.
- A working knowledge of computers.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly to move objects. The ability to work at heights, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders.
Wage and Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement, this position offers a competitive hourly rate.
