Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Sr. Managing Engineer to join our TD Securities Production Engineering team. As a key member of our Change the Bank and Run the Bank teams, you'll work together to create innovative payment solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who is creative, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the vision and strategy for payment solutions, ensuring alignment with Prod Engineering and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Change the Bank, Production Engineering, and Infrastructure teams for development of cutting-edge payment solutions.
  • Provide deep technical knowledge in payments and platforms, guiding and training the team through complex challenges.
Technical Expertise Required:
  • Proven experience supporting SWIFT based payments applications.
  • Experience working as a Payment SRE within the financial industry.
  • In-depth understanding of payment platform architecture, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-native designs.
  • Expertise in designing scalable, high-availability systems that support real-time payments and large transaction volumes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in technology and minimum 5 years of payments industry experience.
  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, and Organizational Skills.
  • Strong Business and technical knowledge.
