Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Quality Improvement and Patient Safety: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on orthopedic care and related topics.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Registration: Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
