Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Yarrow Supermarket. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales workers, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Manage Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Assign Sales Workers: Assign sales workers to duties and tasks as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and handle customer transactions.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Team Player: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve business objectives.
