About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Crystal Kitchens Ltd. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Train Apprentices: Supervise and instruct apprentices in the art of cabinetmaking, ensuring they develop the necessary skills to excel in the trade.
  • Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software: Utilize CADD and other computer software systems to design and optimize cabinet layouts, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Woodworking and Fabrication: Trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, and reinforce joints to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Surface Preparation and Finishing: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, as well as prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Quality Control and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Supervision and Estimation: Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Restyling and Repair: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer specifications.
